Some pix I shooted for the new music project of Solex.
I worked closely with Solex on different videos projects.
For this shoot I used a Canon 5dmkII a Canon 50mm 1.2L and just one Neon as source light.
Here is some stills pull fro my sweet Red Epic X Of my first climbing video featuring Fred Moix . That the first video of this year that I have time to work and set up the camera I had such pleasure to shoot this short. On that day all came, perfect weather people location. I edited this piece with adobe premiere CC and the Adobe cloud. That upgrade it’s just great premier CC is faster more stable the timeline is more clear you have tool for subtitle (not tested yet) the cloud looks a really great tool.
I am really happy to share the short long movie of Team Tilt Sailing at the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup. A huge thanks to all the team who trust in my work and a big thanks to my buddy Loris von Siebenthal the Team Tilt official photographer who helps me to understand sailing and race. During the first shoot I was bit lost.
Actually the big trend is definitely slow motion every video have slow motion same for me with the two videos for Mavic below. Slow motion is a good tool for share emotion or action but it’s still artificial and we will get bored so quickly like some time ago with the slider style. The most important as always and will stay fo ever it’s the frame and what you put inside.
I thought October it will slow down a bit but it’s still not the case tomorrow South of France for the Roc d’Azur, Saturday if the weather is good I will shoot an exiting project with climber Fred Moix, Tuesday 15 oct cocktail and premiere of the short long movie Team Tilt Sailing at San Fransisco (still need to fix the sound track) so no time to get bored.
I am happy to share two more videos, the off road one with our new web episode Fab Barel present we did it in Canada and due to busy schedule I had unfortunately only 24hours to make it I wish could spend more time on this great place. The second video the onroad in the part 2 of the crazy journey of Mike Cotty trough the Alps from Evian to Nice amazing time with a great crew we finished dead after a 36 hours non-stop shooting.
Time is flying like hell a couple of days ago I came back from San Fransisco where I shoot the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup for the swiss team Tilt and tomorrow I flying to Toulouse in France for a new project for Mavic.
